Anna Mutschlechner-Dean lives and works in Vienna.
Her work explores topics of cultural cognitive phenomena, questions of human identity and individual perceptions of reality.
Central themes revolve around the relationship between humans, their environment, and nature. With an interdisciplinary approach that often integrates performative, sculptural and digital methods, she explores human conditionings that alter interpersonal relationships as well as those between humans and nature.
In Researching the human connection to external contexts, her practice addresses individual and collective, socio-politically influenced patterns of behaviour and perception.
Mutschlechner-Dean's work strives for social engagement, participation and interaction of audiences and an extended dialogue.
