FLOW UNTIL OVERFLOW (2022)

Video, 04:16 min

Flow until overflow addresses the question of how a hybrid society undergoes changes in behavior through constant use and exposure to digital media and gadgets. It explores the distortion of nature and its transformation as well as the human relationship to it. The constant overload of data and information, continual overstimulation by certain features of digitality, operate addictively. Where is the boundary between what is needed and what is sought? Between the oceans that connect the continents and digitality that has a similar function, virtual deformations of the influence of the technological are explored while the search for an original state of human relationship and connectedness to nature is emphasized. Referring to the loss of perception of the relationship with the environment and ecosystems as a result of the excessive supply of human-made stimuli, Flow until overflow shows a search through sensory overload.
